Springbok Nude Girls are one of South Africa’s most iconic and influential rock bands, known for their explosive live shows and fearless fusion of Rock, Punk, Metal, Funk, Reggae, and Jazz. Formed in Stellenbosch in the early ’90s by Arno Carstens, Theo Crous, Adriaan Brand, Arno Blumer, and Francois Kruger, the band quickly became a defining force in alternative South African music, releasing classics such as Blue Eyes, Best Friends, and Beautiful Evolution.
Still evolving decades later, SNG continue to bring their unmistakable energy to stages across the country. Their latest release, Partypocalypse (2021), proves the band remains as vital and unpredictable as ever. The current lineup features original members Arno Carstens, Theo Crous, and Francois Kruger, joined by David Watkyns on trumpet and keys, and Sergio Barbosa on bass.
